It's Buffalo's Cafe in Madison. Not grill. I think they recently changed the name to Bison's Cafe too, since there is a Buffalo Cafe chain in Georgia (don't know if Madison was a franchise)and there is a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Huntsville, so logically the chain wins. Similar to how "The Hard Rack cafe" had to change the name to "Rack Cafe" in the 90s when Hard Rock complained.
Mesquite Grilled Salmon Salad, Fried Chicken covered with cheese sauce, Onion Flower (bloomin onion), BBQ Nachos, Shrimp Burrito, Grilled Santa Fe Tilapia, sirloins, ribeyes, and T-bone --- that's a sampling from the menu I picked up today.

Prices look reasonable, along the lines of Texas Roadhouse or Logan's I would say. And they do have a kids' menu.
had lunch there today. overall it was a good experience. a coworker and I had burgers. they were very good. had cheddar cheese on it which was a nice change, and i could taste a hint of cumin on the meat. they were cooked perfectly for me, right around medium to medium well, so if you want them well you'll have to request it. they were served with steak fries and the fries had seasoning on them that i couldnt quite identify, but they were also good. another coworker had the buffalo tenders, which he said had good flavor but didnt care for that type of breading, they're breaded in a tempura batter, but overall he was satisfied. and the last guy had the chipotle chicken with what i would consider a southwestern rice, had cilantro in it, and he was satisfied as well. they bring you chips the way a mexican restaurant does, however instead of salsa they give you cheese dip...again, seasoning in the dip and on the chips that i couldnt place but they were definitely good. we received our food pretty quick so that was a plus, but we got there right as they opened so that could be a factor. overall i was satisfied with the service. prices are reasonable, all our meals were under 10 except for the chipotle chicken. definitely plan on returning. i'd say it's definitely a solid restaurant and hopefully it will do well.
Ate there last night. We were the only couple in there so we could hear what was going on. If you like microwaved food, then this is the place for you. I don't usually complain to the manager, I just don't go back. Service was great. Food wasn't. Wife had bar b que chicken. It was a microwave heated piece of chicken with bar b que sauce poured on it. My fries were still frozen in the middle and my buffalo chicken fingers weren't even warm. Others may have a different experience than I did but I don't plan on returning.
I had lunch there with a friend recently. HARLEY is correct, you can see the two big microwaves sitting there in the window. The positives?? The service was fantastic. Loved the buffalo tenders, the chips and cheese dip. The negatives? They haven't done a thing to the place but buy a couple of plants. The old, ugly, cracked formica and ugly floor is still there. The tea was nasty, I believe it was instant (Nestea?) and the mac&cheese was straight out the blue box, the 59 cent one. We may go back at a later date to see if things have improved. I really hope so as I would love to see them succeed.
Not too good when the new owners don't do too much to remove the idea of the old establishment before them. As for microwaves my daughter worked at Shoneys for a while and I know, at that time, they microwaved a lot. Can't say much about it now because I just don't know.

As for fixing up a restaurant after you locate in one that failed before or had something before check out the old Mama Blue's location where they are putting in a Japanese Restaurant ( I think will be called UMI ) but man are they doing some MAJOR renovations and making it look good. Needed to in my opinion and I'm looking forward to trying it out also.

I hope Buffalo's Grill does well, don't like to see anyone's business venture fail on them.
both times i've been i thought the food was good. and it was definitely NOT microwaved. both times were for lunch though. and having formerly worked in a restaurant similiar to one like this, i could however definitely see depending on the time of day you go where a microwave would be used. whether this place makes it or not only time will tell.
I've heard that Buffalo Wild Wings will be built once Bank Independent moves to their new location and then where they are currently at is where the Wild Wings place will go. Is that correct? Actually it's only been a rumor and can't find anyone that knows for sure.

Either way I have been to Buffalo Wild Wings but love good wings so will most likely add it to my places to visit and I hope they do come here and do good.
My wife, 2 boys and I had dinner at Buffalo's Grill last night. What we had was DEFINITELY NOT microwaved. My wife had the regular cheeseburger and I got the chicken sandwich. Both were better than I've had in a while. I know because I finished my wife's burger. Our oldest son got the chicken tenders. Those were excellent, too. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The prices were comparable. I'll go there again AND recommend the place to anyone who asks. Who gives a flying flip what they changed on the inside?

buffalo wild wings is always in a shopping center, just like 5 guys, i've never seen one with a stand alone buidling. who knows maybe this will be the first. but as with so much other stuff on here it's merely a rumor.[/quote]

There's a free-standing BWW in Oklahoma City. No, BWW isn't referring to a Big White Woman.
Well- according to one of the health department inspectors that I see on a regular basis-there will be a Buffalo Wild Wings as I mentioned in my previous post. It will be where the Bank Indpt building/trailer is in Florence. Pappa Murphys is opening in MS, as is Bojangles. There was a rumor of Zaxbys opening in MS but no plans have been drawn up yet (in the old Backyard Burger building?)
I don't care what they changed inside either but your food should be edible. Mine wasnt, my wife's wasn't. So I know two people that won't be going back. As i stated in my other post, some people might have better luck with their food than we did but I won't be giving them the second chance to make it up.

Was told by a manager that Zaxby's was putting in both Backyard Burger buildings.
that's good about buffalo wild wings, if it is indeed true, i'd love to see one in florence. a zaxbys over here would be nice as well, though the location in MS is a little farther from the reservation than i'd prefer, but the florence one is pretty close.

i think with any new place there will be good days and bad days. my 2 times were good so i'll be back. and usually i'll give a place at least another try to see if the first one was just a fluke or not, but that's just me.
Thanks texasgrl, for the info, sounds promising at least as I have heard the same rumor from two different directions. I also was told, from someone in the know, that Logan's' (not Texas Roadhouse) was considering a second location in town but it wasn't very far along in that process.

Also, when we lived in Atlanta (for 4 years) we saw three stand alone Buffalo Wild Wing restaurants as well as two in shopping centers so I guess both can be said.

As for the Muscle Shoals (former Backyard Burger) restaurant I would think the folks would rather see a eat-in Chick-fil-a but I'm sure a Zaxbys would be welcome. I just wonder if anything can make it in that building, given where it's located.
