This is such a sad story. From what I understand these horses had a very loving home, but due to the sudden illness of the elderly owners they went down hill fast from lack of care and food.
I have a special love for horses and this is breaking my heart. If anyone can help there are 70 beautiful Appaloosa's that are in desperate need of some love and attention.
The rescue farm is located in Tuscumbia, and if you contact them they will give you more information. They will also give you the information needed to go directly to the farm these horses have been coming from and pick some up yourself. CC Farms can only take on so many and there are many more still waiting for someone to come and save their lives.
I know that times are tough all over, but if you have the means or a way to take on a horse or 2 or more please consider one of these.
