First Lady Michelle Obama exploded in fury when Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg crashed her family’s Martha’s Vineyard vacation and made off with her “Commander-in-Cheat” husband, sources told The National ENQUIRER.
Caroline – President Barack Obama’s appointed U.S. ambassador to Japan – showed up out of the blue during the last week of the Obamas’ two-week vacation on the Massachusetts island.
And it wasn’t long until she had Barack’s complete attention!
“He immediately started flirting up a storm, while Michelle could barely keep her temper in check,” a snitch told The ENQUIRER. “Even though both their families were there, it was really intense.
“At one point later, Barack ‘jokingly’ suggested to Caroline that the two go skinny-dipping!
“While they didn’t end up swimming nude, Barack and Caroline did sneak off to talk politics over lunch and swam in the ocean with the rest of the group. Before the day was over, Michelle was seething and furious. After they returned to their rented compound, she lit into Barack and read him the riot act.”
The marital blowup was the latest to rock the couple, who are expected to square off in a $100 million divorce once Barack leaves the White House after his second and final term in office in January 2017, sources said.
The ENQUIRER learned that only days before the very-married Caroline interrupted their vacation, a defiant Barack had ditched his wedding ring!
Photos obtained by The ENQUIRER show the Prez was missing his band when he was spotted at the golf course.
Adding insult to injury for Michelle, he happened to be playing with former “Horndog-in-Chief” Bill Clinton on Aug. 15 at Farm Neck Golf Club in Oak Bluffs, Mass.
So it was par for the course when Caroline, 57, and Barack, 54, put their heads together at Martha’s Vineyard – and Michelle lost hers.
“Michelle barely uttered a word to Caroline,” a family insider told The ENQUIRER. “She doesn’t trust her. And the few times she glanced Caroline’s way, she shot her daggers.”
This wasn’t the first time Caroline made Michelle see red.
The ENQUIRER exclusively reported last year that Michelle, 51, went ballistic over a cheating scandal that erupted when Barack was in Japan.
When the First Lady saw photos of her husband and Caroline looking cozy – and sharing a kiss – she blew her top.
Later, Michelle warned Caroline in no uncertain terms to stay away from her husband!
The source added: “Michelle wants Barack to send Caroline back to far-off Tokyo – or beyond!”

Furious First Lady MICHELLE OBAMA is fed up with her philandering hubby – and in a bombshell world exclusive, The National ENQUIRER has obtained official papers for her divorce!
The tax documents detail the couple’s finances, and will be included in her $100 million split from “Commander in Cheat” husband Barack, said sources.
An outraged Michelle might even end her 22-year marriage before the womanizing Prez finishes his second term in office, an insider told The ENQUIRER.
“That’s how livid she is! Frankly, Michelle’s reached the point where she doesn’t care much about keeping up appearances. “She’d have been out of there long ago, if not for the sake of their daughters, Sasha and Malia,” said the well-placed confidante. “Michelle’s been pushed to her wit’s end – and she’s been in secret talks with her divorce lawyer!”
Another source said: “Michelle had agreed to wait until Barack’s term was over in January 2017 before she filed. But their annual trip to Hawaii over the holidays was such a major disaster – marked by constant fighting and arguments over every little thing – that they’ve barely spoken to each other since the new year began.
“It wouldn’t surprise me if she dumps him soon. But her incentive to wait is the fact that he’ll then secure megabuck book deals and speaking fees – which will dramatically increase their fortune upwards of $100 million!
“But she’s sick of him drooling over beautiful women, and she can’t take any more rumors about him cheating.”
As The ENQUIRER previously reported, Michelle is fed up with high-profile humiliations as Barack boldly flirts with stars including Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington and BeyoncÉ.
And the First Lady had a fit when she heard Barack was carousing on an overseas trip with Caroline Kennedy – after he appointed the married socialite as ambassador to Japan.
As top celebrity author Ed Klein reported in his 2012 Obama biography “The Amateur,” Michelle has long been contemplating divorce.
Friends close to the First Lady told Ed she had drawn up divorce papers even before Barack became President.
The couple’s personal woes only worsened after his historic 2008 election. Michelle became a worldwide laughingstock after photos went viral of her watching in disgust as Barack flirted with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
Michelle’s worst fears were realized when The ENQUIRER revealed that the Secret Service had covered up her hubby’s flings with at least two mystery women.
“She learned that Barack was caught with a woman on a solo overseas trip – an incident that, in the words of one mole, was ‘hushed up,’” said a source.
In January, Michelle met with one of the nation’s most vicious divorce lawyers, a source told The ENQUIRER.
“The attorney is waiting for the couple’s 2014 tax returns in preparation of a possible divorce filing this year,” explained the source.
Tax documents obtained by The ENQUIRER for the past two years provide intimate insight into the couple’s finances. In 2012, the President and First Lady earned $608,611 and paid $112,214 in taxes. They also donated $150,000 to charities. In 2013, the Obamas reported adjusted gross income of $481,098. Their charitable donations were just $59,251.
