Hi Michael,
You ask, when we question the arrest of a Dutch cartoonist for drawing a cartoon showing Islamics,
"Are you saying you think it's 'crazy' to get these hate criminals off the street?" While I do not believe in demeaning anyone, their culture, their ethnicity, or their religion -- just as I will not allow them to destroy my culture and my Christianity -- I believe real life incidents such as the people shown in the photo below are much more the "hate criminals."
The photo is from an Islamic march in London and leaves no doubt about their intentions. The photo is from a London newspaper and was published in public domain on the internet. Yet, Islamics get upset over a cartoon. Give me a break!
It is all
"do it my way or I will kill you" and the Liberal Left, even in other countries, are bending over backwards to accommodate them.
A great example: The Dutch, i.e., the Netherlands, were the first country to legalize same-sex marriage. Today, the Netherlands is seeing an increase in divorce rates, both homosexual and heterosexual. They have been for the past decade seen, annually, sharp increases in out of wedlock births. In other words, since the Netherlands legalized same-sex marriage; their society has been really hurting. The institution of marriage has been breaking down. And with the breakdown of the marriage comes the breakdown of that society. We see examples of this throughout history.
An excerpt from
http://www.heritage.org/research/Family/wm577.cfm tells us:
As the Netherlands’ experiment in legalizing same-sex unions has illustrated, same-sex marriage in that country constituted one more step in a steady legal and social breakdown of the family. This is not to say that the data imply a causal relationship between the initiation of same-sex marriage and the breakdown of the family in the Netherlands. Rather, the redefinition of marriage furthered a general pattern of cultural and legal erosion of the institution. America should beware, for we are told in
http://www.eppc.org/news/newsID.389/news_detail.asp The effort to legalize same-sex “marriage” in the Netherlands has gathered momentum over the last decade. It emerged from the following series of legal steps, each seeming small at the time. And, we are told in an article in the Weekly Standard:
http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/004/126qodro.asp Today, marriage is in trouble in the Netherlands. In the mid-1990s, out-of-wedlock births, already rising, began a steeper increase, nearly doubling to 31 percent of births in 2003. These were the very years when the debate over the legal recognition of gay relationships came to the fore in the Netherlands, culminating in the legalization of full same-sex marriage in 2000. The conjunction is no coincidence.
A careful look at the decade-long campaign for same-sex marriage in the Netherlands shows that one of its principal themes was the effort to dislodge the conviction that parenthood and marriage are intrinsically linked. Even as proponents of gay marriage argued vigorously -- and ultimately successfully -- that marriage should be just one of many relationship options, fewer Dutch parents were choosing marriage over cohabitation. No longer a marked exception on the European scene, the Dutch are now traveling down the Scandinavian path. When Liberals convince a society that it should start compromising; there is no end to how far they will go. And we see such ridiculous incidents as a cartoonist being arrested for drawing a political cartoon. Why is it the Liberals scream for "free speech" until someone steps on their toes -- then, they start screaming for that person's blood? Think about it.
God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,
