No secret I love the food at Lock, Stock and Barrel in Florence but this took the blue ribbon. Since we've been eating there we noticed that they run a all u can eat catfish on friday and saturdays. I'm always stuck on one of their other specialties so I never tried it. Last Friday we took the chance and were pleasantly thrilled with the fish. They have an awesome batter and the hushpuppies floated on air. It's like 7.99 I think and they just kept the re orders coming. May possibly be the best kept "fish" secret in town !! Oh and I can't wait til Friday.....I'm hooked !

"Lock, Stock and Barrel on Friday and Saturdays. All you can eat I think both days. Fish is great and puppies are to die for. I should know I eat there alot! Their food is always fresh and always something good as a special. Go early on Fridays as they have entertainment and it gets busy later on. Haven't been there on a Saturday. I think it could be some of the best in the area."
It is at the Kangaroo convenience store at Cox Creek Parkway and Highway 47.

When the developer of that site snuck in a gas station, he pulled a sneaky one, since he had never claimed any intention to do that, even though the zoning legally permitted it. He p promised a first-class restaurant would be there, but it took several years before Lock Stock and Barrel went into business. They might not be a 5-star restaurant, but they are the best I have seen in any convenience store. The sandwicihes are good too. Sometimes service is a bit slow, but the food is worth waiting for, since it is fixed right!
