Catfish @ Shiloh

My husband & I went to Shiloh, Tn on Sunday. What a beautiful day, the trees were turning and the sky was blue. We ate whole small catfish @ Haggy's Catfish Hotel on the Tennessee River. Perfect day & great food. It's 66 miles or so from Sheffield. Took walk on the battlefield afterwards. Great food

I love the Catfish hotel! We use to go almost annually for the battle reinactment that they put on at Shiloh when I was little and then usually went and ate at the catfish hotel afterwards. The last time we went, my mother and I took a picture with two confederate soldiers outside the restaurant!

If I remember correctly I took that picture. I also remember the cannons were very loud that day.

The Catfish Hotel is worth the drive. Its the closest thing I have found to how my dad use to fix it. Are they still closed on Mondays?
