I thought I had seen it all till the other day. I've seen cell phone drivers swerve into my lane, run stop signs, run red lights, drive 15 MPH slower than the speed limit thinking that is a safe solution (most of the time in the passing lane). The other day I was driving up a slight inclined hill when I observed a young boy riding a bicycle down the hill. It was apparent he was riding his bike with no hands. As a kid I used to do this myself and was fairly good at it because I concentrated on what I was doing. As the young man got closer I noticed he was not as proficient and was swerving from one side of the road to the other. I slowed down just before he lost control of his bike and almost hit me head on. He wasn't concentrating on the task at hand, HE HAD A PHONE AND WAS TEXTING!!!!! and it almost cost him dearly. How many people are going to have to die before something is done?
