I haven't but if they do folks have to try their Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie.  Actually I got acquainted with Cheddars when we lived for two and half years in Fort Wayne, IN.  For those who have tried the Cheddars in Huntsville it doesn't compare with the Fort Wayne location.  I know things aren't supposed to change but after we moved away from Fort Wayne the Cheddars there burnt down and once they rebuilt the new restaurant wasn't as good as the old restaurant.  Go figure.

The old O'Charley's building doesn't fit Cheddar's business model.  Their Huntsville location is much, much larger inside than it looks from the outside.  Cheddars is a fast moving operation, and the Florence building wouldn't work for them.

Too bad Cheddar's service is so hit and miss.  Their food is a very good bargain, and the honey butter soaked croissants are to kill for.  The 2' stack of onion rings aren't bad, either.

Actually I think there is a new marina and from what hear it will be large enough to have a restaurant.  The location is beside Shoals Creek Bridge and when we passed looked like a lot of work (moving dirt) going on there so could be.  At least on Pickwick you have the Pizza Restaurant at the Marina so I know what you are talking about and I'd like to see a nice place on Wilson also.  I know it gets tough sometimes, on the water, when you have to smell the aroma coming from the Turtle Point Country Club building and restaurant so having a place to put in and catch a bite would be nice.

I don't know what's going on at Randy Rollison's new marina.  At least he has some boats boarding there now, and the docks are beautiful.  I wish Times Daily would research the Rollisons' plans, and publish the info.  Many marinas store smaller boats on racks in large metal buildings, and put'em in the water with huge forklifts.  It'd also be nice to have another source of gasoline on the water.
