This is probably something that we could point out forever and all we would be doing is making Partisan Fire.

The Jury will decide if Libby lied to the grand jury. The issue of who was taking the fall for the leak is not actually central to the trial. The problem with making it central is this, in matters of National Secrets, the President is truly and rightfully the final arbiter. The security breech of outing is moot if the outing was authorized by the President. So, the cover up is the ONLY issue.

I personally feel that the outing of Valerie Plame, and the front company she operated for intelligence gathering was DESTRUCTIVE TO INTELLIGENCE GATHERING and should not have been done, BUT, the President has an unchallengeable right to do it.

More vital and damaging was the outing of Mohammed Noor Kahn, a high ranking Al Qaeda operative who was in custody in Pakistan. Condi Rice outed him, resulting high speed street chases in London, Arrests and missed opportunities to arrest in Pakistan, and a possibility that Terrorist cells in France, Germany and Italy escaped, but were broken up.

Some sources in England feel that the Tube Bombings were PREVENTABLE, HAD KAHN NOT BEEN EXPOSED.

Is there an investigation? I don't know of one, but there SHOULD be.
