Using the same logic, or lack, thereof, I might state how hapless Kerry and Gore were against Bush, who, following the same logic, was a much better candidate.
Of course, one must throw in an aside at Governor Palin, just as the Democrats have done at every Republican presidential candidate from and including Eisenhower. Its trite and, now, rather infantile. Wouldn't you assume that anyone who thought the US had 58 states was a bit of an airhead, especially, if he were a candidate for high office?
So, then, it must be your view that anyone who has been politically active in Chicago and Cook (correct spelling) County must, perforce, be sleazy by virtue of having lived and worked among sleazy persons. That would mean that there can not be an honest elected official or bureaucrat of high standing in the entire area. If you wish to be that cynical, go ahead. You should take note, however, of the recent revelation--all over the media--that the sorry Governor of Illinois was caught on tape to the effect that he could not get anything out of the Obama camp but "good wishes," having apparently tried unsuccessfully to hit them up for some kind of payoff and been rejected!
