Colleges too. The company's that operate college cafeterias insist that every student buy a meal plan and they pay for it whether they eat at the cafeteria or not. There was a story on the news in HSV about a couple UAH students getting a dozen pizzas from the cafeteria and taking them to a homeless mission because if they didnt get something, the meal plan provider just gets to claim those funds as profit.
Super, more government control and intrusion. How can you NOT love BIG GOVERNMENT? If it is a financial decision, you just raise the price to those you provide the service to, NOT force all to participate, to keep cost lower. But then again, why not follow the new healthcare plan guidelines and just impose a penalty if you don't buy a school lunch? Maybe fines, penalties, how about jail time if you refuse to pay that tax?
