On Co. Rd. 111 Center Star area , A male grown Chocolate Lab showed up at our house, it has a shock collar on, a very friendly dog.
Please !! If you have lost one or know of one that maybe lost PM me.
I have him fenced in, and a dry place.
We have 4 other dogs and no room for another one.
We will hold him for a week and then have to do something with him.

almost positive it is free to run a "found" ad in paper....glad he found you and that you are taking care of him...clap clap clap...maybe his family are on vacation....give it an additional week! I also wonder if he would return home if you let him out...just wondering....
Ok thanks to each of you, this dog was here for 2 days in hopes he would go home , before I fenced him up, we have 4 dogs ..2 males and ..2 females all been fixed. Sunday nite I noticed he had gotten hit by a car ,, back leg or more so foot messed up, so that is when I fenced him in, so to keep the other dogs from wanting to fight.
I have posted flyers around and called Center Star vet to see if anyone report him missing, I may give him another weekor so,, if not found his owner. I will see if "The Ark" in Huntsville will take him. It is a no kill shelter, my brother volunteers there at times. I did take another dog there and they found a great home for that one, and she was a Chocolate Lab.
I would love to find his home, now if some Jerk droped him GGRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, not saying what I think of them.

I got one of the Best Phone Calls this morning in a long , long time !!!! after posting the add in the Times Daily, the Ower saw the add and called, the Labs name is Buddy.
Buddy , I and Owner was so happy. They live in the Houston Town area.
Buddy's owner tryed so hard to pay me for taking care of Buddy,, no way I was so happy I wanted to pay him for careing and answering the add , lol I did give him a zip lock bagg of Peanut Brittle I had just made . Oh Yummmie Best I have made in a while
