Hi to my Forum Friends,

In another discussion, Autumn tells me, "I will have to agree with Fish on this one. Just because someone is an atheist, agnostic, or other non-believer does not mean they follow or worship Satan."

Have you ever noticed that, when looking at a global map, no matter how far you travel east, you can still continue to travel east. The same happens when one travels west. You can spend your lifetime traveling east or west, without reaching the farthest east or west.

However, when you travel north or south -- you reach a definite point where you can go no further. When you are at the North Pole; you can go no further north. When you are at the South Pole; you can go no further south.

That is why, when King David was writing about folks who have decided to follow God (Jesus) and know His mercies, His grace -- King David described it this way for us, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us" (Psalm 103:12). No matter how far east you travel -- west is still way over there. The same applies to the transgressions of a Christian believer -- they are, by the grace of God, far removed from us.

Joshua told the Israelites, "If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD" (Joshua 24:15).

In other words, he is telling the Israelites that they must choose: Are they to follow pagan gods, the Satanic gods -- or will they follow God? There are no other choices.

By the same token, we must choose whom we will follow. There are only two choices: Jesus or the World. Who is the Prince of this World? We are told in Ephesians 2:2 that Satan is ruler of this world; also, in John 14:30, Jesus tells us, "I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me."

One must choose to follow Jesus -- or he/she will be following the World. Who is the ruler of the World? Satan. Therefore, one must choose whether you will follow Jesus Christ or whether you will follow Satan. There are no other choices.

Therefore, Autumn, when you say, "Just because someone is an atheist, agnostic, or other non-believer does not mean they follow or worship Satan" -- you are mistaken. They might not attend Satanic covens or meetings -- but, when one follows a leader, that, in itself, is a form of worship. So, one not following Jesus is following Satan -- therefore they are worshiping Satan.

Just as you must choose if you are going to walk North or South -- you must also choose if you are going to walk the Jesus way, or if you are going to walk the Satan way. There are no other ways -- and Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John
14:6).

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

What a load of crap! Your analogy is seriously flawed. At the time of King David, they had no idea that the world was round. So, I am pretty certain that is not the reason for what was said. It would be within reason that he was just referring to things he knew, such as the vastness of the desert.

And as for the comment about if you don't follow Jesus you follow the devil, are you off your meds? That has to be one of the most arrogant things you have ever puked up. You know, I'm Baptist and knowing that you are, as well, almost makes me ashamed to admit that I am.

I follow logic, reason and, when those fail, my BS meter - which goes off the scale every time I read one of your posts, Bill. If those are tools of Satan then I am guilty as charged.

One of the cool things about atheism is that I dismiss any belief if boogieman that lives in the ground. The crappy part about that is that I have no one else to blame for my occasional transgressions.

Hi DHS,

In the days of King David, the people might not have understood the physical aspects of the world -- but, since God created the heavens and the earth -- I can assure you that He knew.

And, keep in mind -- the Bible was inspired by God. Just like with the prophecies; men wrote what God inspired them to write -- having no idea what they were prophesying.

You may be Baptist -- but, it appears that you seldom, if ever, attend a Bible study. Just a suggestion: why not ask your pastor about my comment -- you either follow Jesus or you follow Satan -- and come back and tell me his answer.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Hi Fish,

You may call your gods whatever makes you feel good. Call them logic, reason -- call them Greenspan -- call them Darwin, Dawkins, or Hitchens. It really matters little what you call them -- God tells us all of these are only Satan in disguise.

So, you just keep genuflecting to whomever you like. I will keep walking with God.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Jesus said that he wished that we be either hot or cold...because if we are only lukewarm, he will have to spew us out of his mouth. This means we should be on fire for God...worship God, follow Him. If a person is cold..totally rejecting Christ, judgement would be easy, he choses hell. However, if a person is indifferent, not following God; he is (by not choosing) automatically chosing Satan. There is only two choices. Heaven or Hell. There is no middle ground. So, if you're not chosing to give you life to God, you have automatically chosen Satan and hell.

Actually there are three if you include reality. But perhaps that's just me.

Hi Fish,

Quite honestly -- heaven and hell are reality. I just pray that you get it all straight before it is too late.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Quite honestly, the evidence indicates that when you die, you die. I believe that a belief in an afterlife diminishes the value of the one and only life we are given.

You don't have a second chance, Bill. You were put here to propagate the species and ensure the survival of your offspring before your power down. Why waste any of that valuable energy in pretending to believe in a invisible man that lives in the sky?

The atoms in my body were born in the middle of suns that burned long ago and far away. It is much more satisfying for me to accept the apparent fact that those atoms will once again return to their origins to be recycled again into another star or another life form.

That, my friend, is the reality regardless of whether you wish to accept it or not.
Bill,

You are a liar.

L-i-a-r.

I told you you'd be lying if you repeated your insane assertion, and you did it.

Liar.

I am an atheist and do not follow satan any more than god. They exist only as metaphors for capricious Nature.

If anyone out there believes you, then they are simply stupid, but you know better.

You are lying. The things you say are inaccurate, and you know it before you say them. That's lying.

I submit that you have less than zero credibility, liar.

DF
Once again Bill has chosen to pick on me for an opinion that was also voiced by several others on the forum. Go take your meds Bill. Henceforth you will be ignored.

Hi Deep,

It appears that, as I expected, your Atheist Cutesy Manual ran out of anything new to say -- so you just post a link. So, I will follow your example and just post a photo -- one which has much more truth value than your video attempt to gather the Atheist Hall of Shame members and proclaim your Atheist Gospel.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Hi Deep,

Dishonest, to you, is ANYONE who disagrees with you and your Darwin/Dawkins/Hitchens Gospel. I do believe many in the world will see you, maybe not dishonest (except to yourself), but very misled.

As far as hatred -- I challenge you to show me where I have shown hatred. Is it hatred to know and tell you that your Atheist Religion is wrong? Is it hatred to tell you that you are headed down the wrong road into eternity? Is it hatred to warn other folks not to follow you?

You say you have laid Christianity aside. Yet, how can you lay aside that which you never had?

Sorry, my Friend, no cigar!

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
