It is very difficult to go "too far" in caricaturing a president and an administration (actually a MALadministration) that is itself a sad caricature of what the business of government should be at the highest levels of the executive branch. This president and this administration deserve all the ridicule they are getting.

In case you did not know, Bush's grandfather supported Hitler. Do some research on Prescott Bush and Hitler.

I suppose if you go far enough back, we all have ancestors who did bad things in their time. What the hell does that have to do with the present day. Absolutely nothing. I'm sure there are a few BDS suffers that will find your little comment refreshing though.

Oh, but I do know about the Prescott Bush/Nazi Germany connection and how Prescott's financial affairs were oh-so-tightly intertwined with the Hitlerian economy. Perhaps as good a summary of all that disloyalty as can be conveniently had is to be found in Kitty Kelly's book, "The Family," which traces all kinds of Bush family scandals through 3 or 4 generations. She also exposes George H.W. Bush's ("Bush 41")long-term adulterous affair with his "assistant," Jennifer Fitzgerald, which Bush has denied, but which was very well known to many, many persons in Washington and elsewhere while it went on for years on end.

The book is an eye-opener. Kitty Kelly entered the big leagues of investigative reporting with this book. The information in it was vetted through a whole tribe of attorneys and none of the scandalized Bushes have been able to rebut any of it. The book's only flaw is seen in Kelly's acknowledged inability to identify some of her sources, owing to fear on the part of those sources that the powerful Bush family would wreak vengeance on them for telling the truth. Those who want the TRUTH on the corrupt Bush dynasty would do well to get a copy and read it from cover to cover.
Here is a useful review of the book:

Trouble with that is that you do not have to go back any distance into the Bush family to find scandal and corruption. Kelly's book describes the sleaziness that pervades ALL recent generations of the Bushes. There are dusty skeletons in their closets and fresh ones in the living room! The childish fictions about such things as mysterious and unexplained deaths in Arkansas--allegedly connected with the Clintons, and since disproven--pale beside the true accounts of deceit, corruption, and manipulation by the money-grubbing, power-hungry Bush clan!

You missed my point so I will make it more concise... What the hell does what GWB's grandad did in the 30's and 40's have to do with GWB today?
~raises hand~ i can answer that one,,Blood runs thicker than water! Birds of a feather flock together.
You can see the mentality of this sort of thing right here in Florence Al. Old money families have their staunch "rights and position" in the community and is handed down. same with lower class folks as well,,its kinda like a cycle. Oh you do have those spokes that break out of the wheel sometimes,,but George Sr and GW have failed to show any signs of breaking the family mode of things.

OK. You people are right, everybody else is wrong. I stand corrected. I just hope I never do anything bad so you people won't be talking bad about my kids or grandkids. I also hope YOU never do anything bad so we won't have to talk about your kids and grandkids... hmmmmm....

So, what exactly are you saying? Did GWB's grandaddy teach his dad to be a nazi? Did he pass that to GWB? Just wondering. The point is, just cause his grandaddy did business with the 3rd Reich doesn't mean that GWB is the devil like so many want to portray.

I bet some of the people on this forum have Great-Grandad's, heck maybe granddad's that were in the klan. Does that mean that they are all racist? Just wondering...

by the way, I'm not being "condesending", I'm just trying to make you people see how far your BDS is making you reach to take shots at GWB.

Well, the fruit does not fall far from the tree, and the MULTI-generational history of corruption in the Bush family, as powerfully documented by Kelly, ought to be fair warning to voters in future elections of the unwisdom of putting any any more of these sleazebags in public office! The strong family history of corruption, greed, and manipulation does indeed turn out to be very relevant to the behavior of GWB. Prescott's pecadillos were not some isolated and atypical incidents in the Bush record of slimy behavior; they signalled a trend that has been continued through 41, 43 and numerous other Bush lowlife "aristocrats."

I don't know why I bother. You are going to believe that ANY big business people are corrupt. If you look at the facts in context you will see that many companies such as standard oil and GM invested in Nazi Germany leading up to the War. All that matters to you is that his last name is bush and you can twist actual events to make him sound like some type of evil tyrant. If the weak minded want to believe you that's fine. As for me, I can look at the facts an reach logical conclusions. BDS doesn't cloud my thinking as it does yours.

Come ON! I have asserted--and you have not really denied--that there is a strong history of sleaziness in the Bush tribe, and that it is well documented in "The Family" by Kitty Kelly, and that the Bushes have not made any kind of legal challenge to any of her findings on them. They also refused to cooperate with her research in any way, thus signalling that they did not want to open themselves to questioning about the sordid history of their family. AND, many associates and acquaintances of the Bushes told Kelly that they feared retribution if their names were used as citations for information that they divulged on the Bushes. Read Kelly's work for yourself and get educated on the real truth about this greedy, conniving, power-hungry, elitist bunch of rich white trash--the Bushes! In other words, I encourage you to do what you said you are capable of doing, namely looking up the facts for yourself. Go to as many sources as you wish but do a complete job of research on the Bush tribe and their scumbag history and you just might change your mind. One more thing--your intemperate generalization that I am going to believe that all big business people are corrupt is without foundation. It is no more than raw and unverified assumption and will remain so unless you serve up something to substantiate it, which you can not do. I do not hold that notion about all rich folks, although it is as clear as can be that there are in fact a lot of wealthy crooks in the corporate landscape, as evidenced by recent fines and prison sentences for big time rich white trash business people. When you make big, broad, sweeping generalizations about my beliefs--all the while having no basis for such tripe--you seriously injure your credibility.

Oh balderdash! I don't like Teddy Kennedy any more than I like George W. Bush, although it is very evident that Kennedy at least has some functional soft tissue between his ears. I never said anything about kicking Bush out of office. My point was, and continues to be, that there is a continuous line of deceit, corruption, and sleaziness connecting the generations of Bushes that this nation has for too long tolerated and supported. My only recommendation at this point is NOT to vote for any more of them for any public office. That is not REMOVING anyone from office; it is a superior course of action, namely preventing any more of these vermin from attaining elected public office.

The first mistake you made was quoting kitty kelley as a good source of info, truthfull info anyway. You truly have no good feel for this business world, do you? Do you think the CEO's and CFO's got to where they are by being mr nice guy. Just because they didn't play nice to get there doesn't mean they are crooks. Life not fair you know. They played the angles and came out on top, get over it.

Based on this comment, JFK and RFK should have never been elected either. Their daddy was a dirty bootlegger.
