In the final hours of this year's Conservative Political Action Conference, conservative columnist Mona Charen was escorted out Saturday after remarks she made about conservatives supporting politicians despite sexual misconduct allegations against then.

Charen, who was speaking on an all-women panel titled "#UsToo: Left Out by the Left," rebuked conservatives for excusing the behavior of both President Trump and Alabama Republican Roy Moore.

"I'm disappointed in people on our side for being hypocrites on sexual harassers and abusers of women who are in our party, who are in the White House, who brag about their extramarital affairs, who brag about mistreating women," she said. "And because he happens to have an 'R' after his name, we look the other way, we don't complain."

She also criticized Republicans who endorsed Moore, who was accused of pursuing and assaulting teenagers while he was in his 30s.

"You cannot claim that you stand for women and put up with that," she said.

Shouts of "not true" came from the audience afterward.

At least 16 women have accused Trump of sexually harassing or assaulting them. He and the White House have denied the allegations. And nine women have made a variety of allegations against Moore, from him pursuing relationships with them to assault.

Charen has previously voiced her disapproval of conservative support for men who face sexual misconduct allegations.

Last November, after revelations about Moore pursuing teenagers while he was in his 30s surfaced, Charen wrote in a column:

"Of course, some conservatives are now up to their nostrils in hypocrisy themselves. They believed Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick, but the multiple accusations against Donald Trump were just political hits (despite his acknowledgement on the Access Hollywood tape). And with Roy Moore, we've reached a truly upside-down world in which social conservatives find themselves saying that a district attorney who scoured shopping malls and courthouses for girls who couldn't even drive yet was OK because, well, something about Joseph and Mary. Republicans have come a long way since Daniel Crane."

so do we blanket the issue or look at each incident?

Moore was 30? now 70?   did anything come up in those 40 years?  did he correct himself,  improve his behavior?  on those charges we just eliminated half our population.

As for Trump I am not sure,,  what I do know is his comment about grabbing P****, was that because your rich/celebrity they

will let you. This is true many women will do things they normally wouldn't because someone in famous or has money.   How many times is it consensual, however when they get mad or it is convenient they change the story?  I have seen this.   Why is it assumed true just because someone said it?  do we take face value or think?

remember there are three sides his side, her side and the truth.  Well maybe four if you consider the media's side being different.

next thing is when did it happen. this year, last year, 20 years ago, 40 years ago?  how far back do we go?   don't know about you, i was ignorant in my pre 40s.

As for Christianity, Trump has never claimed much more than being icing on a brick. Roy Moore claimed to be the real deal - all cake under that icing, then it turned out he was just a sick old man, and then he lied about it. No decent person should have supported Moore.

You support Helda, mobumba, their husbands and other crawling
things, makes you a no decent person. I could name more than you...

Since I've never voted for Obama (note correct spelling of name) or Hillary (again note spelling), I don't see how I support them. That doesn't mean I'm dumb enough to think Trump is a Christian...or Roy Moore.
