Lauderdale county is getting five new tornado sirens; two new ones were installed in 2014. One at Rogersville and one at Joe Wheeler State Park ( First to go in an Alabama State Park I Might Add).
Two new traffic message boards. One At 72/43/Alt 72 at the other at Shoals Creek Bridge.
Ten Backup generators for Traffic Lights ( Only two have this right now, Cox creek/ Florence and 72/43/Alt 72 ).

Q: What is a traffic message board? A: A traffic message board is a screen over a highway that tells that areas traffic information. For example if construction is limiting the road to 1 lane up ahead. Another example is the Trail Of Tears is happening so watch out for cyclist. The shoals currently has two of these. One on either side of O'Neal Bridge, Two new ones are planned for later this year, one at Hwy 72/43/Alt 72 To Catch traffic coming from the west and south, and one at Shoals Creek Bridge to catch cars from the north and east.

Your Welcome, After further looking into the five new tornado sirens coming this may bring the total in Lauderdale County up to 80 sirens, that is a lot but will this be enough to cover the entire county? So locations may still not get the warning.
