Help, I've got computer problems. My son downloaded photos from his I phone to a folder on my computer. At this time, something created shortcut icons on the pc. The entire screen is covered. They are IMG- followed by 4 numbers. There has also been some type of E-mail application called "drop box" that wants me to sign into each time the computer is turned on.

If you left click on one of them, the message appears "the system cannot find the specified file"

If you right click on one and try to open it, the same message appears. I can delete it, but it appears that a new one replaces the deleted one.

Avast says no virus, spy bot says no spyware. Any suggestions.

Best Answer:  Dropbox is a way to upload your files to share them or transfer them between computers. When you install it, it just shows up as a folder on your computer. When you put things into the folder it uploads them to the Dropbox website and they get downloaded onto any other of your computers that have Dropbox on them and that are signed into your account.

Dropbox is an online storage, where you can keep your documents, files, pictures, etc which can be accessed from any where around the world.

If on a PC running Windows, go into control panel>add/remove programs pick Dropbox from the list and uninstall it. When that's finished, go back to your desktop (or wherever the IMGXXXX icons are) and hold down the left CTRL key and left click all the IMGxxx icons until they're all selected. Right click on one of them and then hold down the left SHIFT key and left-click 'delete.'

Voila! No more login boolsheet, no more boolsheet on the screen.
