I've followed both Alabama and Auburn football since the mid seventies, and in my opinion this is the best Auburn teams i've seen. No, the defense is not world beaters, but they make the plays when they need too. If Auburn can make it to Atlanta undefeated I'll be cheering for the Tigers to win it all. Good luck!! and ROLL TIDE ROLL, WAR **** EAGLE.

Thanks bamacarl!!

This is def the best Auburn O I've seen in my lil over 30 years. The D is weird... get torched for a quarter and a half, then dominate the rest of the time. I miss dominant D's of old, but as long as they make enough plays to hold on, I'm fine with it. I'm lookin forward to a great Iron Bowl game. Bama's 2nd loss knocked the luster off of it, but it will still be a whale of a game!!

WAR EAGLE!!

Big Bama fan here, ROLL TIDE. I am not gonna pull for Auburn in 2 weeks, but I will not be disappointed if Auburn rolls into ATL undefeated either! We had our party last year, lets get behind those Tigers if they go undefeated!!

And save a little for UNA Smiler They seem to be in their worst slump in years.

Care to go over the worse case scenario?

Ur sorta missing the point of this thread.
Anyways, best case scenario is Auburn wins the National Championship. 2 years in a row, the National Championship comes home to the great state of Alabama and the SEC.

Intentional late hits on the quarter back have a tendency to do that.

The officials failed in this game.

a thug at work
Tool... apropriate name... LMAO!!

Whatever... You probably didn't even watch the game, and if you did, you saw Fairly get called for the late hit that he deserved. But what gets left out is the constant chop blocking and holding by the Georgia O-line which was VERY RARELY called. The last hit on Murray, Nick had beat the lineman, so the lineman cut blocked. Very legal, and you see it all the time. When a lineman gets beat, they are coached to, when possible, cut the guy that is beating him. So now you've got a 6'4", 305 pounder in Nick Fairly coming full steam, and now has been tripped up by the cut block, and subsequently falls into Murray's leg.
What followed was an attack on Fairly which the refs ignored, then defense of his teamate which the refs punished when Goggans "threw a punch"...while somehow missing the two Georgia players throwing punches, aaaannnndddd, how that ref could stand there with a straight face and eject an Auburn player without punishing any Georgia player or coach for storming the field was a freakin joke. It's pretty obvious which team really showed class. Was it the Auburn players defending themselves from OBVIOUS MALICIOUS ATTACKS, and the team staying on their sideline during the pushing and shoving... or was it the Georgia players OBVIOUSLY MALICIOUSLY ATTACKING Auburn players, and the rest of the team and coaches running onto the field.
I think that answer is easy.
If you don't like Fairly hitting the QB... play flag football, or block him.

I have honestly tried to like Auburn, but this latest game did it for me. I don't tolerate thugs.

you find it strange that 18-24 year old kids know how to defend themselves/fight? wow. you need to get out more.

Sensible folks like me and bamacarl, though there are few of us, are lookin forward to a great Iron Bowl and may the best team win.

yeah..it is pretty strange when players do what they're supposed to do.

after all, it isn't like uga has any history of their team clearing the bench and rushing the field...
BamaCarol, it is not "The Auburn Nation" yet Wink it is "The Bama Nation" !!

Tammy on Paul Finebaum's program said it is the "Auburn Family" so that has to be the truth ! I am thinking she may have been a Cheer Leader at Auburn .

Yes Congrats to the "War Eagles Family", and a "Roll Tide Roll" Cool

I do hope Cam Newton plays in the Iron Bowl, and they find out the facts afterwards of a Mess . Let the best team on that day injoy the moment , and the rest of the year.

"Bamafantk" injoys college Football, many special memories of college football, as far back as 1962 my first College football game ever !! "Bama" and U of Ga. in Birmingham, Bama won 35 to 0 - , Thanks to two friends that took me to that Game , no one in our family had never been to any College game and maybe only a few High School games.
My bad Bama!! I should have referenced it "The Auburn Family". My first Bama gane was 1976 at BDS against Georgia, we won 21-0 and I was forever hooked on Bama football. Also remember quite a few games at Legion Field sitting on the porch eating ribs and drinking a few cold ones with good friends. I bet you may know what I'am talking about. Plus a little road trip to the Rose Bowl.
