Gurwitz, George Will, and Cal Thomas are always emotional hard balling democrats. They can't think of enough good things to say about republican policy so they write negative articles about Democrats and this paper prints all of them.

The corporate media is dominated with conservatives with occasional middle of the road centrists who "play liberals" on TV. Jeff Cohen, a founding member of the media watch group FAIR, (www.fair.org) did spend some time in the corporate media and has written a book about it. There have been some excerpts in the Truthout site (www.truthout.org)
The news is also slanted in the stories they cover and the way they are presented to promote corporate views. Opinion pages are very important and people look to them for insight. Same with TV and radio talk shows. They are dominated by the right wing.
It is important to get other opinions besides just those high paid pundits that are brought to us by corporations. I suggest people checkout the independent progressive media.
