The speed limit is 45mph on most of Florence Blvd. (Even through the PI corrider construction). It's hard to drive that fast through that zigzag mess, especially in heavy traffic. And, of course some have to fly through there no matter. And double fines? You have to be going over 45 to get one. Am I missing something? There are plenty of places that have 35 mph posted that are much safer than that.

I agree, that is how road work is done in the larger cities,example- Houston Tx. Many years ago that is how work got done. After the end of the day traffic,they would turn the lights on and do whatever it was needed to be done. That way, it didn't screw up traffic during the day.
