What makes me mad is that every traffic light in the work zone is on a timer--without any sensors. And they're timed for very long cycles.

I just hate sitting at a red light in the middle of the night when no other car's in sight. And, sittin', and sittin', and sittin'.

During the day, it's just more sittin'. Local merchants don't even realize the business they lost with people avoiding Helton Drive like the plague.
