Controversial rapper"Common" invited to White House Poetry Night by -

M****** Obama.Common who has praised in rap a woman who killed a New Jersey patrolman. Has since excaped from prison and is in exile in cuba now. In 2004 called in rap for the burning of President Bush. Common also attended Church with Obama in the

Rev. Wright's infamous Church since he was 8 years old. Even though he has praised

the cop killer and the NJ law enforcement association has objected, the White House

declined to cancel invite. The Obama's have praised the rapper.

Even though Barac has spoke out against violence in rap, he praises Common.

This is a false issue raised by the nitwits on the right. Nothing to it. what they are saying is either false or misleading. Typical Faux News.

I don't need any more racist-based lies today, thank you.

Jimi is basically a dime store book of one liners. If you disagree with him or the president you must be racist. It is plastered all over the net. Then again who cares that a rapper was invited to the White House. It could be used as an opportunity to learn. Our voting public is diverse. I can think of a few issues more important than which celebs Obama wants to entertain.

A great point was just made regarding the whole Common to the White House thing:

President George W. Bush honored a man while in office that once sang the lyrics "I took a shot of cocaine and I shot my woman down" and "But I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die."

/ignore whatever to make your point seem valid

//voted for Bush

///voted for Obama

////Like both Common and Johnny Cash

don't forget:

read part of the lyrics, about murder and violence and cop killing, but make sure you stop before you get to the part of the song that says " these are all the things that are killing us, lets stop it all and try to build a worthwhile community and try and be good people for a change."

i like Common.. and i like johnny cash. and i hate people that lie, and fox news lied by very carefully omitting the lines that were the whole point of the song. it was slimy and underhanded.

We all know he is a one timer anyway and God help us if he gets reelected. It will be the end of the USA as we know it. I am sure Obama's organizers will have the black panthers out there intimidating people like they did in the last election and I am sure Holder will drop the charges if ever any are filed.

To start with Hay, how can anyone like Common that likes Johnny?

Next, Johnny Cash songs are fictitious, they got rythum and well, you know the're good.

Common praises the Black Panther cop killer. Raps about killing President Bush because

there were no WMD's found in Iraq.(Common sense tells us there were because of the

gassing of the Kurds and Iranians.) Common also raps about carrying a peace sign, yet

carrying a gun. Plus a whole lot of very bad language in his lyrics. Good example of the

moralities of the Prez and his ol lady. And again you dorks, I got the story originally from

the San Francisco Bee not Fox. I was going to post the link for Fox, but I knew you

socialist babies would cry Fox.

Ah, so it's ok for you to wish someone dead, but when someone like Common uses it as an example, then follows it up with a plea for peace, it is wrong? Gotcha.

I wished no one dead, I wish they would change their ways and not be degenarate bastids.

Hey assclown, when I feel the need to hear the kind of intelligence you spout; I'll simply pass gas.

Thats the typical AlObama Republican attitude that we enjoy!!!

I personally do not think the President should glorify this type of "music" (garbage). From a musical standpoint it is sh1t. Synthesized music played by computers with no heart or emotion and not a smidgen of talent. Plus its message is violent and sexist and promotes degenarate behaviour. Most rappers can't write anything that does'nt say a derivitave of F**k every line, and their constantly babbling about "bussin a cap, hoes , and muh dik."

These are not the type of degenarates we need in the White House.

You're jealous.  Common has to hide from all the white women trying to jump him, makes millions and millions with his talent, and has the ear of the President and media leaders.   The white folk got Clay Aiken.

Oh, I forgot, I gotta be closed-minded and can't appreciate things across all platforms. A logical explanation for the lyrics would be symbolism, is his disagreement with the Bush administration. Also, I will now take the opportunity to play the free speech card. Many a White House visitor has had controversy, but that shouldn't make use quickly overlook the overall resume of a person.

I'm not jealous in the least. I've got more talent in my chording hand than every cRapper in the world has in their whole bodies. I say this not because I am that good, but they simply suck that bad. As for his white wemmins- big F'ing deal. They're dead to me anyway. Any woman who would degrade themselves in that way are common street w***es and are unfit to be touched by me.

You make zero sense. If you would venture out more often you would see the world is quite big. There are tons of successful white musicians. There are tons of successful black musicians. I think you just Aiken on the brain.

I dont understand your comment.  Nugent proposed killing the President, so how much more do I need to know?

Because they both made a similar statement they are the same person? Ted Nugent and Common are totally different. I am wearing pants. We must be the same person

They are the same.  They have both found a use for their talents in getting their target demographic to make them rich.  Use of language advocating murder just an easy way to get headlines, and media exposure is the key to making money.  Wearing pants is not newsworthy, at least not for me.

I must disagree with you. They are two very different personalities. Different race, background, generation, musical preference, and many more. They just happen to make music and talked lunacy in the same form.

we need to be careful or we'll end up in a stranglehold.

but that's what we get for immersing ourselves in the modern news media and letting them take a journey to the center of our minds.
