Although it's sad to see anyone die...it's amazing that they make more news dead...than alive.
They have every chance to invest what they make...for the future, yet...enthralled in the "Hollywood" culture they just "blow it".

Lost Boys was a great movie.
Anybody else find it odd that Haim exhibited flu-like symptoms just like Brittany Murphy did before she died?
Very sad. He seemed to be fighting a lot of personal demons.

Thanks! Our relasionship has improved...since I showed them all of your posts...as an example of the dangers of marrying ones sister.
ohh i loved corey haim when i was a teenager! the lost boys movie was the best! it is sad that alot of celebrities suffer from addictions and many lose their lives over it.

I personally know of a case where someone died due to being under the influence of methodone (not what is made in meth labs, but the pills they give you to kick an opiate habit). An autopsy was done since it was an unattended death, and the "official" cause of death was pneumonia. However, the tox screen revealed several drugs that suppressed his respiration so he basically fell asleep and died because his body was so drugged it quit breathing.
I feel this is the case in Brittany Murphy and now Corey Haim. I'm no doctor, and I don't even play one on T.V., but common sense says if you suppress your breathing by sedation and lay there long enough you'll develop pneumonia and possibly DIE.
