Crimson lagacy was try to convince me that his dept didn't have internet access. I asked him if they didn't use the NCIC. He then said the NCIC has just in the last few months become web based.

Anyone that knows anything about the NCIC knows it is a computerized data system. The whole thing has been web based since its inception.

Actually that is not necessarily correct jetboy...just because databases are connected doesn't mean the internet is an option...NCIC was a database that the PD's could dial into, but it is not "internet web based" -- up until a few years ago when the internet became the major thing most had a phone based direct connection to a computer database to get their records...now they can connect to NCIC via the web I believe if they are set up that way...the department he works for is not the most up to date with technology unfortunately, but that will change with time.


BTW -- I would delete a conversation with you if you were talking about something that you didn't know all the facts about either...in his case -- unless you work there you wouldn't know...

I know you enjoy the controversy though, and I'm sure the fact that you think you "got over" on a police officer, probably lights your fancy pretty well. It's actually sad watching you reply though- it makes people wonder why someone would go to such great lengths and spend SO much of their time, on absolutely silly things like this. :/

You shouldn't bother with it, because your a fool if you believe your right. I'm still waiting for your pm, the tour of the pd is still open. Why would I use the NCIC computer for the internet when I have my own? The attempts you make at my character are petty just like your pathetic exsistence on this forum. Ok jetboy; I have offered to let things be in the past, but you seem to want to continue to prove to someone that you actually know what you are talking about, but everyone on here pretty much know that you aint about nothing, nor will you ever be, maybe one day when you get out of school, or move out on your own, then and only then, maybe then you will prove your worth to someone. And as far as anything that you would like to know about being a LEO, just ask someone, because you will never know the dedication and character of any Law enforcement officer!

You'd never make a good police officer. I can edit myself as well. Since you like to edit, why don't you correct the typo you made? I guess you wanted it to seem legit. Not everyone has the total disrepect for law enforement that some on this forum do. Some of us are actually VERY grateful for all you do in keeping us safe. We realize that you put your life on the line daily for us and we appreciate it very much!

BTW, no, I'm not a police officer, police offiers husband/wife, etc. I'm just someone that appreciates them for what they do. And, I have NO IDEA who Crimson is. I just know he deserves my respect..

luv2shop -- I absolutely agree -- the officer deserve our respect regardless of what bad apples have done in the past...they do a job with little pay and little appreciation -- they protect and serve...I'm glad they do what they do...

For the love of God! There is NO LIE! There is no grand conspiracy! Crimson is telling the truth. The department where Crimson works does not allow internet access to officers, only captains! It is really sad that people use this forum to turn interesting discussions about relevant topics into peeing contests about things that don't matter!
