Save money.

Go to Aldi.

Buy the big double pack of frozen filets of mahi mahi--very reasonably priced.

Heat up a big cast iron skillet--very hot. Add enough butter to coat the bottom of the skillet to a depth of about 1/8 inch.

Place fully thawed filet (might have to cut in half; these are large filets)in the skillet and cook it, moving it frequently with a spatula to assure it does not stick. Cook about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and complete cooking.

Texture and taste will be excellent. Add Cajun or lemon pepper seasoning if you prefer--after cooking is complete.

I forget the price of these filets, but it is very reasonable for mahi mahi.

The only feedback I have heard was from one person. He said the Mahi Mahi was awful.

I personally want to try Crocodile Eds.

I haven't been, but my mother and father went and took 2 of my kids with them. They all said the food was bad and the service was even worse.

Wow...I see now where all of the hoopla about how ridiculous these forums are is originating. Just because someone is a new poster and has a differing opinion she gets attacked? Nice to know that "southern hospitality" is still alive and well. I guess I should find better things to do with my time than read and post here. I prefer to read and contribute to honest, spirited debate than nasty verbal accusations and brilliant mind reading deductions which some seem to think themselves capable of

Thanks DHS. So far you are one of just a few with any credibility that has posted anything about CE's. These new people with 1,2,22 posts could be anyone from competition to Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
I was really hoping for a good seafood place. Especially after they planted the palms. Now we may never know if the can over winter here.

I have a 'good post' about Ed's and I have been on this forum since the 2nd day it went online...does that make what I post any more credible than your posts?
