The wife and I was planning to try it the other day but after glancing at the online menu we are going to have to save it for a very special occasion. At least the Steaks come with the Salad Bar which is $10.00 if you just order it alone. I don't know about the 360 grille but $30.00 for a 6 oz filet is a hefty price for the Shoals area and $28.00 for a 14 oz Ribeye is also a hit for most.
Dales is an exceptional place and always had (may have now) exceptional food that is/was some of the best to be had in this area. So could be that we'll get a chance to visit sometime soon but with Longhorn opening on the 22nd, and knowing the quality of their Beef, as for my family and myself the price difference will not warrant choosing Dales over Longhorn as Longhorn is a step above all the other chain Steakhouses and also serves exceptional beef.
I hope someone that ventures to Dales will give us a review soon and compare it to the former Dales. I also hope that they can let us know if they kept the same recipe for the French Onion Soup which was very unique and made unique by the Dales Sauce which was very prevalent in the former Dales French Onion Soup recipe. Also I didn't see the unique, and outstanding, Dales Apple Pie but I'm hopefully it's still on the menu along with that heavenly sauce that comes coated over it.
Maybe it's more than worth the prices being presented but I definitely know that their prices are higher than I had anticipated before their opening and where I had thought that they would provide a menu pricing structure that would potentially draw in more families and be more on the line of Georges it appears that they are setting a new tier for the Shoals area. It very well may be worth it and exceptional food and we will surely be giving it a try, one day, but given the pricing structure that they have chosen it will be more infrequently rather than weekly or bi-monthly which I had first hoped.
