Pro-crime policies work. For criminals and their enablers.

Entire cities and areas become unlivable wastelands where only criminals and welfare recipients thrive, and the only businesses are illegal or government funded. Here's what's coming to Dallas County courtesy of Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzo.

Dallas County's new district attorney announced his office will no longer prosecute "theft of necessary items" up to $750.

Finally theft has been legalized for someone other than the government.

The announcement drew an immediate reaction from small business owners who are worried that word of the policy will encourage shoplifting.

The DA’s letter says: "Criminalizing poverty is counter-productive for our community’s health and safety. For that reason, this office will not prosecute theft of personal items less than $750 unless the evidence shows that the alleged theft was for economic gain."

This Democrat, DA, and that DA can be used for more than District Attorney as well, but that's not the point.  What gets lost in this great liberal gesture to the poor and downtrodden, those abused by society who are just looking to live, is the fact that SOMEONE is going to have to foot the bill for what's stolen and usually that's the small business owner that has the business that they will steal from.  With this type policy along with the Democrats open border approach it's Katy bar the Door for law abiding people looking to make an honest living.

I can see it now we are going to start teaching them young.  Kids are going to start taking candy bars, cokes, and drink and just walking out with them because they already have approval to do it with no repercussions, at least from the law.  My ultimate prediction of where this will lead will be many will just decide it's not worth trying to open a business in this area and others will resort to another plan.  Where there is no official law then there will be a personal one.  People will protect their own.   The New Democratic way of doing things will be to punish those who attempt to punish the ones that the officials won't.  I other words store owners who retaliate against those who steal from them will face the fierce retribution of the law.
