Only jimi would comment on a grammatical error when 'responding' to an article about an incidence of domestic violence that ended in tragedy and death. You take the cake, jimi, I hope you choke on it.

It is very sad that the last memory of her parents will be such violence. Ten is such an impressionable age. I hope she gets the help necessary to not allow this to shape her future.

I agree.  It might be instructional for those who use such punctuation (and who cavalierly slough off any criticism of it) to get in touch with  some company's human resources manager and discuss how job applications are handled when resumes come in with such glaring errors.
