Has anyone noticed that the Decatur Daily site (for articles) is a "pay" site? Since they now own the TD, wonder how long it will be before they start charging for the Times-Daily site? I don't think it would be a wise move.

This is very old news. Why would anyone expect to received the TimesDaily services/information free? They are in business to make money.

I would think that if they are running the business well that the advertising revenue would be sufficient.

I you subscribe to the hard-copy edition of the TimesDaily, which I do, or buy it from a streetside box, you pay for it. It is full of advertisements, but you get full stories, not the Readers' Digest versions that the web site offers. If this goofy site is of any value to you, get off your wallet!
