Because of "an accurate and concise description" he posted about someone on this forum - using a misspelled obscenity. Took them a while to ban him, inventor. I think the thread in question is in "Feedback" - if it's still there.

So I guess you can "out" people by posting their real names, employers, facts about their lives and stay a member. Congrats to the trolls. Let's see how interesting this forum will be now. (sarcasm)

Deep does have friends here, he is not quitting on his friends, he is quitting on what he (and many) believe to be whats becoming a joke of a forum. The 'moderated when it pleases the TD staff to do it' forum that allows one group of people to cause trouble or attack other forum members but then bans others for following suit. It is not the members that are beneath him, he can be found elsewhere having the same discussions with the same folks, its the environment that seems to be encouraged here.

Banned or not, it is more than apparent that those that want to come back do. DF has stated that, currently, he doesn't care to come back, as DF or anyone else. I hope he changes his mind, but don't blame him a bit.

Deep has friends here -- even Religious Sheep like me ! I have posted with deep for years now. We have been through a lot of different rounds of trolls on here and the TD has always come back around, but with their refusal to monitor the forums and refusal to put a stop to some of the attacks and other stuff that was going on -- and then the rest of the drama that's been going on the past week or so that I've not been around for...I completely understand his not wanting to be here...Believe it or not, many of us are posting a lot less than we used too. If I posted as much as I used too -- I'd have 7500 posts by now...I've slowed down a lot becasue of the unncecessary chaos...

He might eventually come back -- he has before...but I wish him nothing but the best in his sabbatical...
