It got painful to listen to at times and I didn't make it through the entire debate but none of these candidates, if elected, wouldn't immediately tank the stock market as those investors would foresee economic disaster coming.
History only has to look at Communism and it's promises of equality and a eutopia only to face the stark reality of it which is the elimination of millions of citizens' lives. The only way Communism survives is by mass elimination of those who see what it is and oppose it. The crushing of personal freedoms and total elimination of Constitutional protections. Democrats may be pushing Socialism but what they are pushing is Communism light and can never fulfill the promises.
Bernie Sanders makes a compelling case of free (no cost) medical care without any co-pays for all people (yeah that means illegals also) but promises are one thing and paying for it and implementing it is another. The only way that it would happen is forcing Doctors to accept what the Government chose to pay for certain procedures and to mandate salaries. Not only would medical care suffer almost immediately but we would, almost overnight, become a third world medical system where medical care might be free but you would certainly get what you paid for and because of the enormous demand rationing would be a certainty.
The Democrats push to make Medical and Prescription issues a campaign issue is laughable because they had their shot at it yet failed miserably and not only failed, with Obamacare (aka Democratic UnAffordable Healthcare) but they created a system whereby Health insurance became so much more expensive for all and co-pays rose exponentially for most families especially affecting middle-class families. Just like they always make issues involving minorities issues in every election they promise the world yet cannot and don't deliver but the misery continues if not worsens under their administrations and leadership.
Medical coverage for all must be so complicated. Only 32 of 33 civilized countries have it.
Just to help Republicans understand ... 3% of US military spending would cover medical coverage for all. 3 whole %.

I wonder if the left would be willing to cut off all foreign aid to other countries to pay for healthcare "for all"? The US pays over 53 billion in foreign aid...Canada less than 6 billion...Sweden less than 8 billion...and it looks like the UK doesn't even give 1 billion...just a few million.
Cut off all foreign aid and bill countries if we have to give healthcare to one of their citizens.
I see the sucker has two left feet, another D'rat bites it...
