Actually, Best, the democrats are the ones responsible for creating the middle class that began about 1936 and began to end about 1981. You know, the USA middle class that was the envy of the world until the republicans started taking it away from the blue collar workers. You have just fell for the lies told on the right wing "fair and balanced" news source.

Blah, blah, blah. More leftist BS. You need a new coach. This one is not working for you.

I want to ask a question. I'm not for or against any group or religion while I'm asking. In the historical records, what group or religion has killed more people?

Easily answered, Christians were the majority in north Africa thru the area now called Iraq, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.  They were murdered, forced to convert or enslaved.

JT, we've been over this before. You accepted the union propaganda, without questioning.  The 40 hour work week was the result of work/motion studies and Henry Ford.  After 40 hours, human attention span and energy begins to drop. At 50 hours, there is significant loss to the company.  Ford desired the 40 hour work week because he could keep up to 3 shifts working and allow time for his employees to enjoy the product.  He encouraged other industries to do the same.

The middle class grew in the US well before the advent of unions.

From 1864 to 1968, the KKK lynched about 5,000 people, including about 3,500 blacks and 1,500 white Republicans.

Would you call all "carpet baggers" republican?

So, you are for selective lynching?

The white republicans you are referring to were for the most part carpetbaggers from the north that came to loot the south during reconstruction.

The middle class came from unions and FDR's programs. Before FDR, the "robber barons" gave us the depression.

The robber barons were the 1880s recession. JT, you don't know history, nor the cause of the depression -- government interference caused a recession to grow into the depression.   We've been over this before. Time for you to see the doc, if your memory is fading like Hillary and Huma.

Dire, there's facts and there's I wish it had been this way. Government interference caused the great depression????

During the recession of 1920, Harding and Coolidge ignored Secretary of the Treasury Hoover's suggestion for government intercession.  They cut taxes and government expenses resulting in a growing economy. At the recession of 1929, president Hoover asked for a massive import excise tax on everything, not just selected items. Over 900 economists sent letters requesting he not do so. Other nations did the same, shutting down global trade.

Jt, you are the one that thinks because you want it a certain way, and believe if you keep making posts seeped in your muddled thinking, that others who know better, will somehow be worn down and start agreeing with you. I'm not sure you have ever posted a fact. I don't remember seeing a fact you posted.
