I don't care how you spin the numbers, that's just too much extrapilation. They need to get out and talk to the people who elected them. Talk to the local legislators back home who have a better pulse of what the people want. I just don't trust the paper thin polls.
Yes, I agree that they need to talk to us, but when is the last time you actually had the opportunity to talk to Shelby, or Sessons, or Cramer? You may go see them make a speech, and they may go visit with some big-wigs, but when do they actually talk to people? The last 2 senators I actually spoke to were John Stennis, and Jimmy Eastland, and once to Hal Heflin after he retired.Unless you are old, you probably don't even know the 1st 2 I mentioned.
Now I have written, and later e-mailed my reps. I never hear from Shelby, Sessions acknowledges recept , and Cramer sometimes acknowledges and sometimes dosen't.
Shelby and Sessions NEVER vote the way I wish.As I said in a previous post, they really aren't needed, just a thing to vote whatever way Bush wants.
I'll give you , that the accuracy of polls is subject to question, however, they seem to be accurate to a degree, and therefore may be one thing they should consider in their voting record. I don't think they should just vote along party lines.
