With the way the country was at THAT time, the Republicans held the majority of everything... so what ELSE could any of the Democrats do??? When in Rome????
Any of us faced with the same situation, just might do the same things... but the bottom line is that the Democrats is making a come-back, and we should see a HUGE difference in the ordinary working person.... but we have to give them time to unravel the mess that Bush and Company has gotten that ball of twine in!!!

Noticed you haven't posted much in the past couple of days I've missed you. As long as you are on a roll, you say mostly what I think, so I don't have to wear my fingers down typing.
I am worried that it may take the Dems a long long long time to get this Bush mess straightened out 'cause he has messed up our country terribelly! I doubt if I'll be able to see it finished in my lifetime unless we get someone the caliber of Bill (not Hillary) Clinton, and that aint likely.
