Every year around this time, the charity I work with tries to find a needy family or person to take care of for the holidays. We were made aware of a woman yesterday who is in need of having her dentures repaired. My understanding is the teeth are broken in two seperate pieces across the top and that the woman is not able to eat while wearing them. Can anyone recommend a denture repair person (for lack of a better phrase)? When we asked her about the person that made the dentures originally, the woman refused us his name because she said that she never paid the original bill.
The family member that nominated her emphazied their desire that the woman's dentures be repaired before Christmas dinner as they wanted to enjoy their holiday meal without seeing these 'false teeth' lying on the dinner table on a napkin. That broke my heart and I really want to help this family.
Any advice would be helpful.
