Blonde, green eyed, olive complexion (Irish, Indian and Italian). Very confident and out spoken person, VERY talkative, tends to NEVER SHUT UP! I'm smart, honest person who is very opinionated.
I dislike people who think they are better that others, who lie/steal/cheat, or take advantage of others!
I'm a Southern Baptist, Republican. I work in the Insurance business. I love to read, quilt, refinish antiques and cook. I also like to swim, suntan, workout and keep in shape.
I like BBQ, southern fried chicken, biscuits, cornbread, fried shrimp, and all salads.
I like just about all music except ,rap/hard rock/tejano/classical.
I can write several pages about what I think about the Illegal situation and the storm victims so I'll save yall on those! lol
Music - Depends on what mood I'm in or what mood I want to be in. I like pretty much all genres.

Favorite Food - freshly picked home-cooked veggies, pork chops, blackberry cobbler topped w/vanilla ice cream, coffee with boat loads of cream, MILK chocolate.

Politics - No Party affiliation. Politicians by and large are self-seeking liars. Unfortunately, the only people willing to work with them are other self-seeking liars.

Religion - I am head over hills in love with Jesus. I don't follow any one denomination's doctrine. I attend a Southern Baptist church.

Description of Me - Easy-going but not afraid to speak my mind, laugh alot, adventurous, <this is hard, Blues Man> considerate of others - mainly I think because I see other people's feelings easily - I don't know why, but I just know by looking at someone's face. So, I find myself reaching out alot because I automatically love them & want to help somehow. I'm not a rocket scientist, but thankfully, I've never had trouble comprehending or learning new things. And apparently I must like to talk about me since I'm typing this, but gosh, it's embarrassing! Smiler
Blonde, Teal eyes (blue-green-grey), fair skinned, Irish-Chickasaw. 5'3"(and 1/2), with the junk-in-the-trunk well balanced by the junk-under-the-hood Wink
Very optimistic, yet realistic, patient and tolerant of others and very empathetic. High IQ and strong sense of humor, but it tends to get a bit too bawdy at times. I'm great when it comes to keeping secrets, am faithful and loyal and my leg thumps when you rub my tummy.
In person i am extremely shy.
My beliefs are Christian Wiccan/Native American Gnostic. I worship and believe strongly in Jesus and the male/female duality of God/the Great Spirit.
The light of my life is my son and everyday with him is a blessing and a gift.
I love reading, home-decorating, writing lyrics and laughing just for the hell of it. My tastes in most things is very eclectic. Favorites depend on my mood of the moment.
Strong parapsychology interests and retired part time P.I. and CHt. specializing in regressions.
Full time parent and everything else that goes along with being both mom and dad. I also do volunteer work at Shoals hospital. I'm the card lady.
More info is available at plentyoffish.com...if you can pinpoint my profile Big Grin
or call BR549.
I'm an opinionated, computer geek, southern belle, who likes to watch a lot of TV and reads too few good books. I can but won't change my truck's oil, but I am the only person I trust to cover the gray in my hair. If you want to listen to Kenny Chesney, call me any time, but if it's rap and junk then leave me alone. I'm a pretty conservative gal who doesn't mind to disagree and I sorta like to argue. Some might say I have to have the last word, but I'd tell them they are wrong Wink

I'm a person who would never describe myself in this venue, because I assume that you either wouldn't care or else you'd probably be delighted with whatever it was you read, no matter what that might be.

I am 'e', a little lower-case letter trying to find her way in the world.

Music: Country oldies and Shania and Gretchen

Food: Steak, BBQ, potatoes, and does beer count

Politics: yada, yada, who's got the money is all
that matters, we need a third party

Religion: 1/2 Baptist and 1/2 Catholic, but do
not like religious fanatics.

Likes: pulling pranks on others, having fun,
most people.

Dislikes: those who abuse senior citizens,
little children and animals, and
those who lies on others for their
own gain in life.

General: People I have met describes me in three
ways.
1. Blues, gets along with most people,
if you don't like him, something
must be wrong.
2. If Blues was a crminal he would be
very dangerous
3. He does not forgive and he does not
forget.
(This what others have describe me as
being, and I have no ideal where they
came up with them thoughts)

5'10, 170 lbs, and sexy as H*ll, the last part could be a lie.

I am simply the greatest.
I am a liberal on social issues. I just dont need the government telling me how to run my personal life. This is actually a "conservative" philosophy, but many dont realise it. Self determination and the pursuit of happiness are not prefaced with "as long as me and my group agree with you". We are a secular society and my religious convictions and belief may not be yours - nor yours mine. Barry Goldwater had it right on this issue.

I am devout in my religious beliefs. I am not, however, a fundalmentalist. For me the new denominations (those American incarnations who are only 150 yrs old or so) have just not been around long enough for me. I like being able to question, explore and decide for myself Gods will for my life. I dont pretend to know it for anyone else. I adhere to "the three legged stool" philosophy : scripture, tradition and reason."

I dislike the pious, the arrogant, the know it all, the judge, most of all those who think their way is the ONLY way. Being right is subjective and there are many truths - hence the multitude of opinions on any one subject.

I love my partner, my family, my house, my pets, my church, people who are kind, people who put people before philosophy and dogma, I love little kids ( as long as they belong to someone else), I love reading, research (on almost anything I am interested in), I love this little town, the list is too big.....

As for music - I like it all. I will listen to almost anything. Classical to Rap ( dont sell rap short. It takes talent, skill, musicality and style. Just because some of it has objectionable lyrics does not mean it all does. Missy Elliot is great.)

I love food of any kind - not picky at all.

As for my looks. I workout every day except Sunday. I have always been thin and plan on keeping it that way. I dont tan, I just turn red. I have blonde hair and green eyes.

What a bunch of nuts! I knew I liked you people.

Hey, I didn't know we were supposed to say what we looked like. It's wierding me out when somebody is not even the same sex I thought they were.

Sassy Kims, are you short? Somehow, sassy & short just go together well.

I'm short (5'3") & a little sassy (husband says alot sassy Smiler). I had red hair until I had kids. My daughter took half & my son took the other half (BOTH have red hair LOL). Now it's red, brown, blond mixed together (is that chestnut, ladies?). Fair skin (Swedish, Scottish, Irish, English, American Indian - which I got nada! Frowner). I'm just a freakin' melting pot unto myself...aren't we all? I am smallish in size but big in mouth...hee, hee. And I'm 39 & holding...tight.

And speshly for PUF, "Who cares, I never get lonesome cause I treasure my own company."
Except for the love and gratitude owed my family, friends, and the Good Lord, I am debt free. This frees me up to enjoy so many things.

My only dislikes are negative, opinionated people. Had to put up with them when I worked. Now that I’m retired, I don’t.

Thanks, Blues_Man for some very insightful and entertaining topics. Folks here answered the question, “For an interesting conversation, who would you invite to dinner?”

I didn't notice anything offensive unless I failed to read it. Will it be in the paper in the morning ? I'm sure Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton will report it. LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big Grin

Dogsmaster, I let her borrow mine. You might want to check on him.

Well , I found him knocked out. I don't know if it's from the frying pan or the booze. LOL !!!!!!!!!!! Big Grin

Sorry about your tough week.

But I don’t recall seeing anything offensive rising to the level requiring an apology posted by anyone on this forum. If so, I think they would acknowledge an acceptance.

After all, this is about how we see ourselves, not how others do. So “laissez les bons temps rouler.”

I do enjoy pretty good health, and I don’t work out... unless you count farm/forestry activities. But there is a far cry between being debt-free and being rich. So I ain’t even going to comment on how good looking I think I am, “bless my heart.”

So post what you please about you. You did a nice job describing why you use “e.”
Alright, here goes: Peace Brother likes to listen to different kinds of music, but mostly the Oldies but Goodies like Billy Joel (I've been to several of his concerts and he's probably the best live performer I've ever seen), the Beatles, Eagles, Dire Straits, Elton, and old Santana.

Food: Steak and taters is always good, but some good fried calamari, some clams, Italian Ice (Luigi's is the best you can get around here), and I have a weakness for good baked stuff, like bagels and pastries -- wash it down with a little latte....

Politics: Peace Brother is a card-carrying member of the independent Peace Party. When I was 11 years old (1968), my oldest brother was killed in Vietnam and I guess you could say that losing my brother had a tremendous impact on the way I look at things.

Religion: I grew up as the bad Catholic kid your mothers warned you about. Now I am a regular non-paying member of the Church of Whatever Works for You.

People: I love being around people that can make me laugh -- real good belly laughs. I don't claim to be free of my own prejudices, but I don't like to be around closed-minded prejudiced and judgemental people.

I'm sure that's way more than any of you wanted to know, but don't blame me -- it's Blues Man's fault for asking the question! Razzer
ok here goes...
description: 5'4 with auburn hair and blue eyes. pale complexion..straight forward and honest, not afraid to say what I think. graduated with a bachelor's of science in journalism in 2004. i love my job and my family.
Food: BBQ (love ribs and bbq sandwiches), Mexican food, cajun food, hot wings ( i love spicy food), and I LOVE LOVE LOVE COFFEE!
Religion and politics: raised a catholic/presbyterian..(yeah i know, it's a weird combo) and now i am a southern baptist and I am a conservative republican
Music: i like rock and some country (everything from the red hot chili peppers to kenny chesney)
Things I love: my husband, my son, my soap operas, reading, watching anime, and photography
Things I hate: obnoxious people.bossiness.
I'm 46, a former educator and LEO....and don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Big Grin

I'm partial to Classic Rock from the '70s, Swing from the '40s and MODERN Country. I love to cook, especially Italian, and whatever I can throw on the grill.

I enjoy the outdoors, primitive camping, hiking and hunting. I also shoot IPSC and IDPA and have been known to make/sell a knife or two.

I love to read AND write...and have pondered submitting some of my works (short stories) for publication. I have written technical articles for a few websites. I detest READING poetry, but I like WRITING it Roll Eyes, and HAVE actually been published on an international level.

I'm a registered INDEPENDENT and conservative by nature. I'd love to live in Mayberry. Wink
Music: Everything except hip-hop

Food:Everything except liver, mushrooms and uh....squid.

Politics: Never touch the stuff

Religion: Christian-Southern Baptist

5'5", brown with a grey streak like Lily Munster (and I'm only 35!!)

I have 3 children- One living here(girl), One gone on to Glory (boy) and One on the way (boy, due in late August).

Totally 100% in love with my wonderful, awesome husband.

Have the best job EVER at birthdaydirect.com--so much fun I hate to leave when the baby comes.

I am friendly enough. I have a dry sense of humor so I rarely try to be funny in type--it just doesn't come out right. I can always make my family and friends laugh, so I don't think I am being delusional about it. *S*

I like to read, cook, hang out with my daughter (who is hilarious), play Trivial Pursuit and the like (I am undefeated) and I am very active in my church. VBS is coming up and we are BUSY.

That's about it.
I'm basically a moron who has managed to make it past some substantial moron safety guards. I generally find that I often feel rather ignorant when I'm talking with those folks I'm personally close to, as well as the people with whom I work. There's probably a reason I feel that way.

My closest friends would, in any given description, include the fact that they think I'm funny or that I have a heavy and dry sense of humor. I smile a lot, and I like to make other people smile. Of course they would also tell you about how moody I can be and offer examples of times when they found my friendship to be more of a challenge than an incentive. They're good that way.

One thing I can say about me is that I have always chosen only the best of the best to call a friend; they keep me grounded. I have very few. I love each of them fiercely.

As for my appearance, I have hair, a complexion, and two eyes. I'm not too tall. I'm reasonably unattractive, and I can't stand my voice. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out a way to change it. When I do, I'll let you know.
