"NEW YORK (Commentary) The most powerful indictment of the news media for falling down in its duties in the run-up to the war in Iraq will appear next Wednesday, a 90-minute PBS broadcast called "Buying the War," which marks the return of "Bill Moyers Journal." E&P was sent a preview DVD and a draft transcript for the program this week."

A little off the subject, but from the posted article; Moyers

then runs a pre-war clip of President Bush declaring, "We cannot wait for the final proof: the smoking gun that could come in the form of a mushroom cloud."
I bring it up in the context of "Innocent Till Proven Guilty Beyond a Reasonable Doubt." Sort of the antithesis of what Bush did to Iraq.

I think this show is a Must See.
Yes, this is a very important program and Bill Moyers proves once again he is still one of the great journalists that are true to their profession.

He has been going around the country speaking and exposing the Crimes of Bush and the failure of the media to do it's job. He has given some great speeches and has written a number of great articles on corruption in our past and how people rose up to expose and stop it. He calls on this generation to do the same.

He was once asked what is news and he said something to the effect that "News is what the govenrment or people in power don't want you to know."
