If I remember correctly there was a situation in the city of Cherokee where the city council stripped the mayor of his authority to hire and fire. If my memory is correct, guess they'll have to go back and eat crow.

It has been awhile since we had any good Cherokee gossip!
What I find funny is that so many towns are having the same bickering going on. Maybe its because of the idiots at The Alabama League of Municipalities.

Why are they charged with giving advice to anyone when they don't have a clue about the state law that guides them? What a joke!

Evidently the Cherokee didn't get the message, or they think they're above the Alabama Supreme Court's ruling.
