Did anyone else have the experience of the recall? It seems that just about eberyone who takes this medication was effected. I have never seen a conpany like Bertek treat something this serious with such little regard for patients. All you could get was a recording or some answering service when you called. I had prescription filled at Walmart and when i called them all they would do is give you three more 800 numbers to call. Never once did they offer replacement medication or answer my questions. I don't care if they give medicine away, i will never go there for prescriptions again.

Hi, I don't really think this has anything to do with the TimesDaily, but maybe I can partially answer your question.

Digoxin is a controlled substance. Even though it is not a scheduled drug, one must have a script to purchase it. In other words, Wal-Mart must account for this drug in the same manner it accounts for Oxycodone.

I imagine the corporate headquarters will issue some policy on customers either getting their money back or receiving another generic drug. I'm also going to guess there might be a possiblity of other similar drugs being recalled, therefore Wal-Mart is waiting for the final outcome.

You can bet your cache of the little pills that there will be a class action suit. Just keep checking the Net and you should find out more info shortly.
I thought the idea of these discussions were about whatever the issue was! I did not indicate that it had anything to do with T/D. My whole idea was the unconcern that the drug conpany ans Walmart seemed to take with serious consequences that could have occurred. FYI; I have been on this medication for 12 years and am quite aware of what it is and what it is for.
