After all the mud slinging and infighting the past few days I thought of this poem I read about twenty years ago. Not that it will make any difference but I think it says a lot.

DIGNITY
by McWhorter

I seed an ole houn dog just the other day
come trottin down the road.
kinda slow sedate and dignified
just like some folks I've knowed
My little fiest dog run out and he really raised ole Ned
But that ole houn just trotted on and never raised his head.
Seein which reminded me that smarts ain't all in books
for that ole houn weren't college bred
and he sure warn't much on looks
But shucks, that ole hound showed common sense
which really ain't no vice
Cause that houn knowed if he barked back
he'd be just another fiest.
Do unto others....before they do unto you
