I was there. Its a shame that all the TD had to say about it but i have come to expect such from them. The Sports "department" is really a joke in my opinion. This was a big story. Its not every day that a college coach comes to a high school for a fund raiser much less the most sought after coach with a lot of national media attention here lately. I can say that the event was a complete success and despite what the media says Saban appears to a down to earth guy. He even signed autographs and had a Q and A session after he spoke.
WoW...you mean he actually signed autographs and did a Q & A session? Gee Wally, what a guy! LOL

Give me a break.....the only real story here is how comical it is the fans think Saban is the "savior". A bunch of delusional fans hoping to relive the good ole days.

Most sought after coach in the nation? Well maybe in Tuscaloosa he's considered "sought after", but an ahole to the rest of the nation.

The REAL story here in Deshler made a lot of money. We have there what other teams only dream of.
Coach does not like the media very well. This crap story could have been done out of retaliation for that reason. Or it could be that the reporter is an Auburn grad if they graduated at all. Lets face the facts, who wants to work for the Times Daily?

I'm an Alabama / Tennessee fan . With that said, I'm skeptical about coach Saban. I will wager now ,that he won't be around long at Alabama if he continues his LSU/ Miami Dolphin recruiting practices.
