There has been posts on the TD that someone is going around and removing Tim Milam signs. There has been post about someone cutting the name out of Chad Coker’s signs. Now there is a new twist, the sheriff is putting up signs in people’s yards without their permission.
From Colbert County: We hear that supporters of Sheriff Ronnie May are busy placing political signs in various yards--the problem being they're doing so without the owners' permission. The odds are that Colbert County will have a new sheriff come next year.
How pitiful and despite is the Sheriff of Colbert County getting. His supporters must put up signs without permission so it will look like he has support. Sheriff May must be running scared. Others are tearing down signs to slow the raise of other candidates and the sheriff has to put signs up to act like he has support.
Just remember, it is against the law to steal someone’s sign and it is against the law to put a sign on state or privately owned property. Go out and show support for your candidate and leave other people’s signs alone and stop putting signs up without permission. That is just sad and deplorable.
