Perhaps, I should ask how many of you believe that the Christmas holidays are a religious holiday?
Or do just celebrate this time of year as time of giving, and thankfulness of the past year and the new year to come?
"Christmas" as such is a religious holiday so I would expect christians to celebrate it. But we don't celebrate the religious aspects of it. If they did away with it I wouldn't miss it, but that's not going to happen so we participate in it to a certain extent, Santa, the food, gift giving, etc. I posted on another thread why we do what we do at Christmas. It didn't start out as Christmas, but that's what christians evolved it into, so final answer, as of now it is religious.
