Do you have a Facebook, or MySpace account?

I don't, my wife does. She uses it for business, but she does get some smart remarks from men that she just ignores.

I know some who have it set to private, but then you don't make any new friends.

Ms. Foxy has met nurses/docs from all over the country with hers. Just don't give out any info that's too personal.

I have both, but I had to set it to private. You have to be careful, there are some predators out there. Just like Fox said, nothing too personal. I enjoy connecting with my old college and high school classmates, as well as old co-workers.

I do, too. But you have to be okayed by request.

I have both. Both are set to "private" and yes, people can find me. They just can't see anything but my picture until I confirm them as my friend. You can do a name search. I mainly enjoy it because it allows me to keep in touch with people that I might otherwise not be able to talk to on a regular basis.
Having myspace on private also keeps me from getting messages asking me to check out someone's webcam, etc.

We both used to have Myspace accounts. Myspace if fun for keeping in touch with old friends or leaving funny comments and such but Im not a big fan of it in a relationship. Some people dont take the in a relationship hint very well and will still try to pursue someone they think they may be interested in. Although the person your with may be completely faithful and reject them, its still irritating to deal with. We both agreed that it wasnt worth the irritation and trouble.

I've got a myspace account. It is private. As TheFox says, you don't make any new friends... but that's not why I have an account. I use mine to keep in touch with my friends scattered about the country.

If it weren't for myspace, chances are I wouldn't be living in Florence today. True story!

I have both Myspace and Facebook but also both are private and only someone who I approve can see my pages. I have never had any trouble with any of my friends finding my page either. In fact, my cousin whom I haven't seen in probably 2 or 3 years that lives in Missouri found me the other day on Facebook! And if it weren't for her finding me, I might not talk to her for another year or more. It's a great way to keep up with old friends from high school/college as you all go about your lives, move off, etc.

my myspace profile is stripped of about all info, no friends list/comments/anything else.

my facebook has very little on it also. its pretty locked down.. i keep in touch with family.

i'm a active user of both.

edit: if you use myspace, check out the greasemonkey extension for firefox, and then browse userscripts.org for useful greasemonkey scripts. its great for unhiding peoples profiles like mine, or making someones unreadable page legible.

My ex daughter in law walked off and left my grandson (Her Baby) when he was 8 months old . My son and I raised him ,he is 14 now ,but last month she found him on myspace and wanted to talk to him ,when we told her she could ,she deleted her account . grrr Im glad if she was only gonna mess with his mind , We ask him and he said he didnt want to see her or talk to her ,he said he dont know her . Guess you get what you ask for .

I think everybody has a myspace these days.

I heard on CNN headline news yesterday that facebook has a nasty virus going around. The short version is that if you are on facebook and are prompted to download "adobe reader" (or anything adobe) don't do it! It will download a virus that apparently steals your personal info.

Be careful about that cause not eveyone who talks to your child (grandchild) is who they say they are. Lots of people pretend to be someone else they know and get passwords, etc.

No, Oasis, I don't until I get to know someone very well, I do not let them become "friends" until I get to know and trust them.

I have both, but am not a big user of either and they're very minimal as far as info goes.... i visit the pages maybe once a month.
I have a few friends on myspace, but i don't do the "collect friends" thing.

I don't have either and have no desire for either.

I like MySpace but am not so crazy about Facebook. The applications (someone sent you a Fairy wish, or someone wants to knight you) are stupid.

In my opinion (just mine) Myspace is alot better than Facebook. My daughter has both, and she too likes Myspace better. Theres always gonna be idiots who abuse it, but there are methods to prevent crossing their paths!

I use twitter. I tweet from my phone. And I get updates from some of the people I follow sent to my phone. I have been known to tweet while driving. I may have a problem.

I have both i don't like facebook though. Myspace is much better. My profile is set to private you have to know my last name or email to add me. what is twitter? Is that another myspace/facebook thing?

I have neither. These forums are about as much social networking as I do on-line.

I think its geared more to the adults .
You will get people that click on your pic and then they (tagged )will send you a email asking if your interested in them , its fun .
