TTodd ...I wouldn't pay much attention to these cops? posting on here. For one thing, I have caught two of them lying. (crimson legacy and phatom) They are good exaples of just why cops are getting a bad image. they have forgotten they are public servants, and now think they are masters. Don't give up hope though...there are still some good cops out there.

In the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" post in the feedback section you stated you supervised inmates. I take that to mean you are a jailer or a corrections officer. In the same discussion you made some pretty ugly comments about gays. Do you think you can do your job effectively with such bias?

I agree that COs do not NORMALLY enter the prison with guns. They do however go armed when transporting and other things.

Police officers in most depts are not allowed in the lockup area with guns either. The same concept as with a prison.

Do you honestly read what you post. do you even know what was the topic was about, or should I say my comment was about. As I commented that Correction Officers are not Police Officers, but again you take a post and jump right in and show you have no clue about what you are talking about, from your post, I dont see anything that you really no what you are talking about.

I don't know if this has been stated and I dont want to read all these posts to see, but I have this to say to this quote: LEO's, as a whole, get up everyday knowing that they are risking their lives every moment they are at work. This action alone should earn your trust and your respect.

There will always be bad apples, but as a whole, LEO's are there for you and your community. You can say you don't trust them, but who are you going to call when someone hits your car and takes off or breaks into your house. How about that drunk driver that puts your family at risk on the road? Don't bad mouth someone who is doing something you aren't willing to do....

Starting on my 16th year. Yes I do my job VERY effectively. Not a pregnant inmate yet

I dont allow any sexual talk/activity, I dont allow sagging, I dont allow racist talk...I dont allow anyone to use the N word...black or white...I dont allow caps worn backwards...the list goes on. Yes Lewis...I think I handle my job pretty well.

And I have known some correction officers that are now serving time now with the imates that they once protected, does that make all of them that way? If I took your view, I would say yes, that all of them are dirty and dont know how to do their job!

Your right that is not what i asked,, and again you still didnt answer my question. other than you have to have money to buy bullets! does that mean that it is your gun? is it issued to you by the department of corrections? and do you quailify every so often? so what is your point! You made the statement that Corrections dont carry pistol while on duty! you are not afforded any other exception that a regular citizen is afforded. so when do you actually get to carry a gun that is legal?

so how long did you go to school to be a Jailer?
