I remember a Pat Boone movie being promoted like that and  WVNA had a VW bus there doing a remote broadcast asking movie goers what they thought of the show. The Bonnie and Clyde movie with an old car that was all full of bullet holes out front to advertise the movie. Where we parked out bikes and later motorcycles when we got older.

I don't remember the Photo Promo above, but do remember Saturday mornings at Colbert Theater, cost 6 RC Bottle Caps to get in to watch 2 OR 3  "B" rated movies, that became classics, like The Blob, Zerro , creature from Black Lagoon ... Drinks Dime, popcorn Dime, Milk Duds Dime. Something was only a Nickle, can't remember exactly what it was, maybe Snickers or Hershey bar. Normally the cost of admission was a Quarter, if you didn't have the bottle caps.  Kinda broke my heart when they tore down the "Colbert". It was always better than the "Tuscumbian" Theater!
