Flotown,
Just seems like more of the typical Chicago politics, now located in the White House. Do you follow "Chicago Politics"? You know, the same kind that got Rod Blagojevich elected???

I follow politics, plain and simple. The crap that Dems pull is the same crap that Repubs pull. Instead of addressing and stopping the problem, it seems as if your pointing the finger at one party.

Look it up it has been done and it is done for both parties.
Sorry, guys! I didn't mean to imply that the Repubs are blameless, quite the contrary. It's just that I am still scratching my head that we elected a man that had so little experience, a well-documented background in what most of us would call an anti-U.S agenda/attitude, and a "long-lost" birth certificate. It is sad that he and John McCain were the best the two parties had to offer. His inexperience has been exposed and his connections to "Chicago Politics" has been made more obvious by the health-care debacle ("can't pass it?, just pay for it under the table!"). President Obama represents a faction of people who think that you can legislate everything equal, including wealth. When the incentive to better one's economic situation is taken away, guess what you have? The same thing the USSR had for many years. That resulting-attitude was why the East had such a hard time when Berlin was reunited. People were so used to mediocrity, they didn't know how to react when given the opportunity to excel....Back to my original post, "Don't Pay Dead People", "Dead" people have been "voting" in places like Chicago for a long time and the practice has probably stolen many elections along the way, I would hate to see it affect our national elections. See "ACORN".
Good point astepper. Obama's hope and chains speech inspired a lot of people that don't normally vote. McCain didn't inspire anyone and now we're left to deal with the aftermath. You would think we would learn a lesson but I'm not so sure. I've always been one of the most optimistic ones. That's beginning to fade and turn to pesimism.

Black masks, gasoline, molotov c_o_c_ktails and guerilla tactics are the only things that will ensure a brighter tomorrow.

Thanks for revealing the kind of "I live in my mommies' basement" anarchist you appear to be. That is all.

LOL
I bet you wish we were all like that... Insignificant? Beating our fists on the wall, listening to Punk rock and dying for Revolution?
Sad that most of the country is suffering from the same tunnel vision.

When faith alone is not enough
To keep our hands barely above
We look for reason and come up empty-handed
And when our children fight our wars
While we sit back just keeping score
Were teaching murder not understanding now
We're setting the fires to light the way
We're burning it all to begin again
With hope in our hearts and bricks in our hands
We sing for change
The lives our buried sons have laid
We'll cancel debts we've yet to pay
How could we justify anything now
As long as we blindly obey
And do exactly what they say
We'll no one to blame but ourselves now
We're setting the fires to light the way
We're burning it all to begin again
With hope in our hearts and bricks in our hands
We sing for change
We run on the fumes of injustice
We'll never die with the fuel that you give us
Keep it coming 'cause I'm prepared to burn
Keep running from me at every turn Your life around into something true
So turn your life around
Into something true
We're setting the fires to light the way
We're burning it all to begin again
With hope in our hearts and bricks in our hands
We scream for change
