I don't remember that store. I do however remember a place called "Southern Sash" in Sheffield that sold home improvement items and lumber and such kinda like the Lowe's or Home Depot of it's time. I can remember going there with my dad when I was just a little kid.
Anyone else remember Southern Sash?
I remember both. Plowboys had a beautiful "thing" that was the back of a saloon bar. Mirrors
beautiful carved hardwood Cherry maybe.
My dad used to get a lot of stuff at Southern Sash, wasn't a Lowes or Home Depot in those days, but SS had a lot of good stuff for home improvement.
Anybody remember the Temberline Hardware store where the Fox Plumming is now ?
I bought some throwing knives at Timberline back in the day.
