I don't know that much about beer but I am courious about something. What is the difference between draft beer and beer that is sold in a bottle & can?
The little things I take for granted living down here.....I don't know that I can find words to explain the difference other than you'll know it when you've had it. Draft is almost always better unless it is stale. My favorite beer is Heineken and it's incredibly hard to find anywhere on tap. I had my first Heineken draft at Disney World of all places and I think my husband and I just walked around drinking beer the rest of that afternoon and forgot all about the rides.
Draft beer made me get drunk faster and it always gave me a hangover. You never know what you're getting with draft. Also, you have to drink it from a glass.I was never a sipper but always a guzzler so with a glass I always drank more.I probably had some good times back in those days trouble is I just don't remember them.
Draught (also spelled draft) beer is served in kegs, which must be kept cold because unlike the beer in most bottles and cans, the beer inside of kegs is not pasteurized. This gives it a much fresher taste but also makes it much more delicate. It has a shorter shelf life and is more sensitive to temperature changes.
