Drama Queens, Drama Queens,
You see them everywhere.
Drama Queens, Drama Queens,
You can almost smell them in the air.
Some think that they are writers,
Most folks know they're not.
Others think that they're painters,
Most think really... "not so hot."
When they start their fighting,
They're hormonal harpies from hell,
but when you put a spotlight on,
My, how they react to THAT Pavlovian bell.
Attention is a drug,
over which they fight and fuss
But the audience isn't listening,
Ignoring them is a definite plus.
When the fur starts flying,
for the rest there's laughter in the air.
They really just don't get it,
that rest of us just don't care!
You see them constantly strutting,
Like an hen who's laid an egg.
But when you see what they're so proud of,
It's no wonder for attention they beg.
Drama Queens, Drama Queens,
They are always best left alone.
Drama Queens Drama Queens,
there is much for which they should atone.
